Teaching method
My teaching method is based on the "communicative" approach. This is a very practical, direct method.
The lessons are held as much as possible in Greek and try to recreate (through role playing, functional
dialogues, etc.) practical, real-life everyday situations you would be likely to encounter, either in
your work/business or in your travels to Greece.
The emphasis is on oral practice, on "communication",
rather than on academic exercises. English is avoided during the lessons, so that you are encouraged
to start thinking in greek from the very beginning. I do not want you to make any conscious effort to
learn the sometimes complex grammar rules of the Greek language.
In my experience the communicative approach is by far the most effective method and the one giving the
most rapid and lasting results.
